Starting at only $59.95 per person you get shuttled to your choice of over 60 premier Paso Robles’ wineries. No other service gives you the freedom and flexibility to taste at your own pace and choose where you want to go.

1. What’s different about The Wine Line from other tour services?
We are a door to door, “Hop On, Hop Off” shuttle service. We let you set your pace and create your own itinerary. We pick you up at your accommodations and start you on our loops. We service over 60 wineries in the region and you just pick and choose where you want to “hop on” and “hop off” all day long. You are no longer stuck with a group of strangers on a set schedule for the entire day!
2. How does it work?
When you decide to “hop off” we walk you in, introduce you to the tasting room staff, who will guide you through your tasting experience, and we return in approximately 40 minutes. When we return we come in and let you know we’re back, and if you’re ready to go, you just “hop on” and proceed to the next winery of your choice. Typically we take you directly from winery to winery throughout the day, so it almost feels like a private tour. Occasionally we may have to pick up others along the way. But, we’re not like a city bus, stopping at every stop in the loop. We basically “hop-scotch” around from winery to winery.
3. What time are pick ups and what time does the day end?
Pick ups are generally scheduled between 10:30-11:30am and coordinated geographically based upon the other pick ups for the day. Out of the area locations are first to be picked up and last to be returned. Please bear in mind we may have additional pick ups after your group along the way so please be courteous and be ready for your pick up. The end of your tasting day is typically 4:00-5:00pm (depending upon return location) at which time we will start returns. Late pick ups and early returns may be possible upon request, only within the Paso Robles, Templeton or Atascadero city limits.
4. How many wineries will I visit?
You will most likely visit 4-5 wineries in your day, depending upon how long you stay at each winery and what you do for lunch.
5. Are the tasting fees included?
Of the 60+ wineries we service, 18 offer complimentary tastings for our customers, just under 30 charge $5-$10 but waive it if you purchase wine, and the remaining handful charge $5-$10 and don’t waive it with purchase. 6. Which wineries do you service?
We service over 60 premier Paso Robles wineries, between the East side, West side and Downtown. You can view the entire list of wineries, along with a brief description, website link and fees/discounts, if any, on our “Wineries” page. On our “Tour Maps” page you can see where they are all situated.
7. Is lunch included?
As you are going to be out all day, lunch is always a concern. We can provide lunch for $15pp. It includes a delicious, organic, gourmet sandwich and choice of pasta or mixed green salad. You can also bring your own picnic and we’ll carry it in our cooler and help you find a nice vineyard to enjoy it.
8. Do you offer group rates?
We do not have special rates for groups. For parties of 7 or more, we are required to make appointments with the wineries. Rather than doing our “hop on, hop off” service, you’d be doing a scheduled service. From the wineries we service, we will create an itinerary, based upon your requests or our recommendations, and will call to make the appointments. We are not a limo service so our drivers won’t be waiting while you taste. They will walk you in, introduce you to the staff and then return approximately 10 minutes prior to your next appointment. We do add a 18% gratuity for parties of 7 or more. Our vans hold 9 passengers each, so when we have parties of 10 or more we dispatch two vans to shuttle the party to and from your winery appointments. You will all depart and arrive at the same time, you’re just split while in transit.
9. What is your cancellation policy?
72 hour notice for groups of 6 or less and 2 weeks for groups of 7 or more. Should you cancel prior to these time frames there is no fee, however, afterward you will be charged for the entire amount. Please note, should your group reduce in size you will be charged for those seats if we are not notified within the above referenced time frames.
10. Do you offer private tours?
We do offer private tours every day except Saturdays and will take you to any of the 200+ wineries in the region. Rates start at $99.95pp with 2 person minimum. Contact us directly for an accurate quote based upon your particulars.
11. Is the tour “pet friendly’?
Yes, we do allow well behaved dogs to sit on their human’s laps or between their legs. Please keep in mind our $100 clean up fee for any “mess.” Most of the wineries are dog friendly as well.
12. Where do you pick up?
We are a door to door service, so we pick you up at your accommodations, whether it’s a hotel, B&B, inn or residence. Pick up and return within Paso Robles, Templeton or Atascadero city limits is included. Additional pick up charges apply for outside areas (per group, not per person) as follows:

• Lake Nacimiento/Heritage Ranch-$30
• Los Osos-$45
• Morro Bay-$40
• Pismo Beach-$45
• Shell Beach-$45
• San Luis Obispo-$35
• San Simeon-$45
• If your pick up city is not listed we may not pick up there. Pismo Beach is typically the furthest south we can go. Please contact us to inquire about different pick up cities.
13. Do you offer special event services?
We do offer special event transportation for winemaker dinners, winery parties, weddings, etc. Due to our tour service hours we are limited in the pick up times. The cost is $100/hr per van with a 2hr minimum and an 20% gratuity. Please contact directly for booking info.

Intoxication: We are here to help you have a wonderful day and we are certain you are going to, although we do ask that you be mindful of your consumption. Should we observe, or be notified by a tasting room server, that anyone in your party is becoming too intoxicated to continue we reserve the right to return to you to your accommodations without refund. Additionally, there will be a $100 cleaning fee for any “mess” made by anyone in your party inside the van.
